The Letting Agency was formerly The Property Centre, which was established in 1997 when Hiltons Estate Agents was purchased by the current owner. The Property Centre originally promoted property sales as well as lettings & management. In 2005/2006 our Lettings & Management department became our core business. The decision was then taken during the latter end of 2006, to concentrate purely on lettings & management and it was later felt that the name of the business no longer reflected these changes. In May 2007 the name of the business was changed to The Letting Agency. Since May 2007, our portfolio has grown considerably and continues to do.

We have grown our business by providing a real service and doing what we say we will do, when we say we will do it. We have over 20 years experience of the property market within Tameside and Manchester. Unlike some agents, we will tell it as it is. We will be realistic about the achievable rent on your property and will consider your personal situation before advising whether or not you should proceed with letting the property.

In order to ensure your property is let as quickly as possible we will promote it via this website, as well as Right Move, Fish4homes and also a number of other sites. We also offer unlimited local newspaper advertising as well as bulk e-mailing, internal display brochures and mailing list activity.

We believe we will put your property in front of more people than most estate agents. How can we feel this confident? Because we are a letting agent. We do not run this business as a sideline to selling houses. This is our core business, you are our number one priority.

We will seriously consider the worthiness of any prospective tenant and if we would not let them into our own home, we won't let them into yours.

We will inspect your property on a regular basis and we will supply you with a written report of when the inspection was undertaken, including date and time, as well as any faults or issues with the property.

We aim to pay rents on to our landlords, on the first Wednesday they clear our bank account. We don't hold the money until the end of the month. This mean's some landlords receive their money, as cleared funds into their bank account, within two days of us receiving it.

We aim to have any repairs effected within the day they are reported to us. We aim to keep you happy.
